Our Story
Stephanie Stuart, founder and lead marshmallow artisan, launched The Toasty Smore after her son asked a simple question: ‘What can we make with corn syrup?’ That moment sparked a deep dive into sugar alchemy and a mission to reinvent marshmallows without processed corn syrup. That journey ultimately led us to embrace our signature ingredient — organic marshmallow root — making The Toasty Smore the only commercially available marshmallow maker we know of using the real, old‑world plant that inspired the original confection.
Driven by a love of cozy campfires and nostalgic treats, Stephanie began crafting marshmallows using premium ingredients and handcrafted techniques. Today, The Toasty S’more is a family-run operation where her husband and two children pitch in during the busiest seasons.
Our Craft
We specialize in small-batch gourmet marshmallows made with clean-label ingredients and real, organic marshmallow root. Each batch is whipped to pillowy perfection using high-quality beef gelatin—never pork—and thoughtfully sourced sugars. Many of our flavors are gluten-free and dairy-free, so more people can enjoy the magic.
